Samsung to License OneNAND Flash Technology to Toshiba

According to a recent report in the Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo, Toshiba will pay licensing fees to Samsung for OneNAND flash memory technology, and it will start mass production on memory chips of this kind in 2006. OneNAND flash memory is based on existing NAND flash memory, but its reading speed is four times faster.
